Every artist works in a studio of some kind, but artists who teach work in two studios at least; one where the artist processes are employed and other(s) where the artist professes his/her beliefs about art. Teaching artists teach by demeanor as well as by demonstration, and this selection of artist educators is as well a survey of pedagogical generosities that are in subtle ways also present in the works of art.
Featuring works by: Jamie Adams, Phyllis Bramson, Susanne Doremus, Julie Farstad, Jin Soo Kim, David Lozano, Dan Mills, Michael Nakoneczny, Rocio Rodriguez, Buzz Spector, Maria Tomasula, and Xiaoze Xie
